IBL have a long standing partnership with the Cantine Minini wine group from Italy. Cantine Minini are renowned for their specially selected, high quality range of Italian wines including Minini.

The history of the company  links to the Minini family history.  The business was established in 1920 when Mr. Francesco Minini, a young soldier came back from the First World War, with a little money but a  great determination to start a wine business in a rural economy and a poor market born out of his great love and passion for his homeland – Italy.

At the heart of the Cantine Minini philosophy was maintaining tight links to the land through the ongoing development of new cooperation projects with growers all over the main production areas of Italy. The portfolio widened and so did the horizons; to export markets.

Today, the export market, makes up 90% of  turnover, giving the company a hand on the pulse of the international wine trade. Indeed export demands very much shape the portfolio development.

The business now sources new wines from unique, often  ancient vineyards typical of Italy. They combine the new technologies of wine-making with rediscovering traditional Italian techniques.

Recent developments include a large range of Southern-Italian wines, especially from Sicily, Apulia and Campania, with an elegant style modern look to compete with the strong international new world producers.
